Urban design at any scale can play an important role in mitigating the climate crisis while also supporting a healthy and vibrant city for the humans that live there. With this workshop, Claire Weisz of New York’s WXY, Brent Raymond of Toronto’s DTAH and Vincent Clarizio of Montreal’s PXP come together to share insights learned through some of their successful city projects, from smaller feats of tactical urbanism that animate pockets of the city to full-scale master plans that bring sustainably driven ideas to life. Through the sharing of case studies and revealing discussions, the three urban designers will provide valuable perspectives on reshaping public spaces into resilient urban environments.
