Calvin Brook, Principal and co-founder of Brook McIlroy, is an architect, urban designer, and planner. With over 30 years’ experience, his projects have received awards in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, and planning. He is a former member of the City of Toronto’s Design Review Panel, a Senior Fellow of the Global Cities Institute at University of Toronto, and a Director of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute. In addition to professional practice, he has taught at Harvard University, University of Toronto, Carleton University and the University of Waterloo, where he held an appointment as Associate Professor of Urban Design.
