Chris Burbidge

Senior Principal, MJMA

With over 25 years of experience, Chris Burbidge has led some of MJMA’s most innovative and recognized projects. He believes connecting people to nature is essential to fostering wellbeing and building community. An accredited WELL professional, he makes wellness and biophilic design a particular focus of his work, seeking to develop it in all aspects of a project. He is currently senior principal in charge of a new community centre design at Moss Park in Toronto with a focus on delivering services within a disenfranchised neighbourhood. Burbidge graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Architecture. He joined MJMA in 2007.
