Kristy Shortall has 15 years of experience in securing approvals and managing real estate projects for a variety of development projects, most recently as VP, Development at Metropia, where she was responsible for managing the professional teams, reporting project progress to Partners and the Board; coordination, negotiation and communication with municipal/regional representations; organizing public consultation sessions; and assisting with development agreements across 12 projects representing over 1.7 million square metres of gross floor area and 10,633 homes. Prior to joining Metropia, Shortall was a Project Manager at MMM Group Limited. She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Professional Planner’s Institute, the Urban Land Institute; she is also a LEED Green Associate and a representative for the Toronto chapter of Building Industry and Land Development Association.
